Monday, February 18, 2013

Join us Presidents’ Day as C-SPAN's American History TV reflects on President Richard Nixon’s legacy and looks back at the 1993 ATF Raid at Waco, Texas.

Former agents of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) discuss their firsthand accounts of the raid on the Branch Davidian compound in Waco, Texas, 20 years ago (8am & 8pm ET).

And, former Richard Nixon adviser Pat Buchanan and former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger reflect on President Nixon’s legacy at an event held on what would have been his 100th birthday.

Every weekend on C-SPAN3 – 48 hours of people and events that help document the American story. Hear eyewitness accounts of the events that have shaped our nation. Come along with our cameras to museums and historic sites. Watch archival speeches from former presidents and other national leaders. We’ll take you to the classrooms of leading history professors, and to lectures and symposiums featuring prominent historians.
