The International AIDS Conference moves into its third day. Issues being covered include the global response to HIV/AIDS.
Additional speakers include: Javier Martinez-Picado, Spain, AIDS Research Institute IrsiCaixa and ICREA; Nelly Mugo, Kenya, University of Nairobi and Kenyatta National Hospital; and Bernhard Schwartländer, UNAIDS.
It’s the first time the biennial event has been held in the United States since 1990 after a travel-ban was lifted in 2010 that prohibited those with HIV from entering the United States.
