Leaders from several branches of the federal government, including HHS Sec. Sebelius, joined leaders from organizations and businesses to address suicide prevention among civilians and veterans.
The event featured the release of the National Strategy for Suicide Prevention, a document that "features community-based approaches" and highlights ways to curb suicide.
Joining the Secretary Sebelius were the Secretary of the Army, Facebook's Global Vice President for Public Policy, and the U.S. Surgeon General, among others.
