National Park Service rangers consider the importance of historic sites to African Americans. They discuss the Mary McLeod Bethune Council House in Washington, DC and Fort Monroe near Hampton, Virginia.  Panelists explore the role of the NPS and how it might be impacted by future budget cuts. The Association for the Study of African American Life and History hosted this event.
