United Nations Ambassador Susan Rice answered questions from reporters about the situation in Syria, Tuesday afternoon.
At the news conference, Rice said that the U.S. is concerned and skeptical of the Syrian government’s adherence to the April 10 ceasefire deadline. She added that what they’ve seen so far from Syria since April 1 has not been encouraging. Ambassador Rice also answered questions on Sudan and outlined the priorities of the Security Council’s agenda for the month of April.
