The Aspen Institute is hosting a symposium on the state of race in America.
The forum is focusing on the future challenges facing people of color in 21st century America. The Aspen Institute's website notes the “event will touch on individual, cultural, institutional, and structural implications of race, presenting trends and exploring the impact of change in the context of the home, workplace, school, and the public sphere."
In the morning, Fox News Commentator Juan Williams moderated a panel discussed family and identity factors with Muslim, Hispanic, and African American community leaders. He also moderated the late morning panel discussion on race and politics with new DNC Interim Chair Donna Brazile and former RNC Chair Michael Steele.
