Former Secretary of State Colin Powell and former NATO General-Secretary Javier Solana discussed the Arab Spring and the role of the U.S. and Europe. The Atlantic Council in Washington, D.C. hosted the event.
General Powell, a decorated four-star general, also served as National Security Advisor and Commander of the U.S. Army Forces Command. Solana, a former foreign minister of Spain, also served as the European Union's high representative for common foreign and security policy.
