Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard appeared before a Joint Meeting of Congress to make remarks about U.S.-Australia relations.  The prime minister spoke about the ANZUS treaty, signed in 1951 solidifying the alliance between the U.S. and Australia.  Other topics discussed include Afghanistan, the global economy, the G20 and free trade.
