Bipartisan Policy Center Examines Voter Turnout Statistics

The Bipartisan Policy Center hosted a panel of polling experts and political experts for a post-election analysis discussion.

They discussied a new report that examines the first statistics on voter turnout at the polls across the country, as well as look at voter demographics and how, and to what degree, different demographics impacted the elections.

Former Secretary of Agriculture Dan Glickman made introductory remarks.

Panel participants included: Ronald Brownstein, Atlantic Media Company political director and National Journal Group editorial director; Curtis Gans Center for the Study of the American Electorate executive director; Kristen Soltis Anderson, vice president of  The Winston Group; and David Wasserman, Cook Political Report house editor.

John Fortier, director of the Bipartisan Policy Center Democracy Project, moderated the discussion.
