Bloomberg Summit Examines the Next Steps Toward Economic Recovery

The Bloomberg Washington Summit examines the state of the economy and engage in bipartisan discussion about the best next steps toward recovery, regardless of the outcome of the election in November.

Speakers include former Chairman of the Federal Reserve Alan Greenspan, President of The Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond Jeffrey Lacker, Council of Economic Advisers Chairman Alan Krueger and Former House Majority Leader Richard Gephardt.

Additionally, Housing and Urban Development Secretary Shaun Donovan, Attorney and Special Master for TARP Executive Compensation Kenneth Feinberg and Former Securities and Exchange Commission Chairman Arthur Levitt participate.

Panel discussions and speakers cover a wide range of topics including: government spending, the housing crisis, setting the economic agenda, job creation, restoring investor confidence and preventing another financial crisis.
