British Inquiry into Iraq War (C-SPAN)
Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair was called back to testify for a second time before a British House of Commons committee after new evidence was found that conflicted with his previous testimony from a year ago. The panel released several letters and memos that suggested Mr. Blair was aware of doubts concerning the legality of the invasion in Iraq.
During the four hour hearing, Mr. Blair defended his actions during his tenure and talked about the role of the U.N. Security Council, and conversations he had with President Bush.
The inquiry hearings are examining British involvement in the War in Iraq and the circumstances leading up to the 2003 invasion.
