British Lawmakers Press P.M. Cameron on Eurozone Crisis

London, England
Tuesday, July 3, 2012

Prime Minister David Cameron will face the British Liaison Committee which is made up of the 33 Chairmen of the House of Commons Select Committees. He answered questions on the impact the European debt crisis has had on the British economy.

On Monday, the Prime Minister reported back to the House of Commons about the outcome of last week’s European Summit meeting on the crisis, where he rejected calls to hold a referendum on the UK’s membership in the European Union.

The UK is not part of the 17-member eurozone, but is a member of the 27-state European Union.
