British P.M. Meets with Parliament

Prime Minister David Cameron answered questions Wednesday on the health of the British economy noting that unemployment is decreasing; although youth unemployment remains a challenge.

He also discusses recent successes in the government’s reform of the National Health Service. At the end of the session Speaker John Bercow announces that Burmese opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi, will address both Houses of Parliament in late June.

Immediately following Question Time, P.M. Cameron updated the House of Commons on international plans to promote economic stability, multi-national agreements to prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons and the plan to leave Afghanistan by 2014.

Members will recess for the next two weeks. Question Time returns on Wednesday, June 13th.
