Brookings Institution Discussion on Congressional Redistricting

Washington, DC
Monday, July 18, 2011

Congressional districts are redrawn every ten years to reflect population shifts.  Redistricting has led to lawsuits in 15 states in this latest round.  The Brookings Institution hosted a panel of experts to provide an update on what’s happening in states like California and Maryland, and look at alleged gerrymandering.

Participants include Norm Ornstein of the American Enterprise Institute and David Wasserman of the Cook Political Report.
