Brookings Institution Discussion on the Future of Libya

The interim Prime Minister of the Libyan opposition expressed the hope that Moammar Gadhafi’s regime could fall apart within weeks.  Mahmoud Gibril Elwarfally also said Gadhafi’s frozen assets are desperately needed by the opposition in order to address humanitarian needs.  He spoke at the Brookings Institution in Washington one day after meeting with members of Congress.
