Brookings Institution Holds Forum on Iran's Nuclear Program

Washington, DC
Tuesday, February 19, 2013

The Brookings Institution holds a discussion on Iran's nuclear program and how the international community might effect a peaceful solution.

Thomas Pickering, a distinguished fellow in Foreign Policy, and Kenneth M. Pollack, a senior fellow in Foreign Policy at the Saban Center for Middle East Policy, discuss the growing sense that Iran is moving closer to being able to produce a nuclear weapon.

The Washington Post reported last week that Iran had recently sought to order magnets used in centerfuges that could futher refine uranium the country already has and claims is for peaceful purposes.
