Brookings Institution Hosts Discussion on Terrorism

Brookings Institution experts agreed that terrorism isn’t a focus on the campaign trail for either President Obama or GOP Presidential candidate Mitt Romney right now in a discussion on the war on terrorism and how it will impact the next President of the United States.

This discussion was the ninth in a series of forums focused on identifying and addressing the 12 most critical issues facing the next president.

Politico White House Reporter Josh Gerstein moderated a panel discussion. Participants included: Benjamin Wittes,Senior Fellow of Governance Studies; Stephen Grand, Director and Fellow of U.S. Relations with the Islamic World; and Hafez Ghanem, Senior Fellow of Global Economy and Development.
