Business Law Professor Discusses the 'Shareholder Value Myth'

Lynn Stout, professor of corporate and business law at Cornell University Law School, discussed her book, “The Shareholder Value Myth: How Putting Shareholders First Harms Investors, Corporations and the Public," at the University of Arkansas Clinton School of Public Service.

After her remarks, she answered questions from the audience.

Stout is a member of the board of advisors for the Aspen Institute’s Business and Society Program and is an executive advisor to the Brookings Institution Project on Corporate Purpose.
