Reagan Economic Policies Remembered

Washington, DC
Friday, November 11, 2011

Former Reagan administration officials discussed the life, legacy and economic policies of America’s 40th president. Former Attorney General Ed Meese, former Transportation Secretary James Burnley and former Director of the Office of Management and Budget James Miller were among Reagan's former officials to sit on the panel to discuss his economic policies.

In this current economic climate, Republicans often point to Reagan's policies as worthy of replicating.

The University of Notre Dame’s Rooney Center for the Study of American Democracy and the Ronald Reagan Foundation sponsored the event. This year marks the 100th anniversary of Reagan’s birth.
