EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson spoke about sustainability and economic recovery at a town hall event at American University.
She discussed how environmental protection plays a key role in the economic recovery and the Obama administration’s dedication to clean energy and jobs. She also spoke about protecting America's health by keeping pollution down to ensure clean water and air.
After her remarks, she answered questions on the effects of fraking, carbon dioxide regulations for existing power plants, renewable energy.
