President Obama Delivers Remarks at Women for Obama Event

The President speaks to the national issues conference hosted by the Women's Leadership Forum and Women for Obama. The conference also featured speeches from campaign officials and leaders on women's issues.

Senator Barbara Mikulski (D-MD) introduced the President, highlighting his record on women's issues, including equal pay and health care.

The Obama campaign announced Wednesday that the President will officially start campaigning for the general election next Saturday, but he has held a number of fundraisers this year, already.

The Republican Party has officially embraced Mitt Romney as their nominee this week after Newt Gingrich announced he would suspend his campaign next week.  Fmr. Gov. Romney won all five primaries that were held this past Tuesday.
