In this program: Portions of two cases argued by ACLU attorney Ruth Bader Ginsburg, before she became an Associate Justice in 1993.  You’ll hear her argue two cases about gender and equal protection: ‘Mel Kahn, appellant v. Robert Shevin,  Attorney General of Florida and others, appellees”  from 1974;  and ‘Caspar Weinberger, Secretary of Health, Education and Welfare, appellant  v. Stephen Wiesenfeld, appellee” from 1975.
