CSIS Hosts Discussion on Economic and Security Strategy in Asia

Former Deputy Secretary of State Richard Armitage says U.S.-Japan relations have drifted but remains stable.His comments came at a Center for Strategic and International Studies panel discussion on a new report titled, “The U.S.-Japan Alliance Anchoring Stability in Asia.”

This is the organization’s third report focusing on the U.S. & Japan.

Other panelists included, Michael Green, a former National Security Council Asian Senior Director and Randy Schriver, a former Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for East Asian & Pacific Affairs.
