The Brookings Institute continues its “Statesman’s Forum” with an address by China's Foreign Affairs Minister Wang Yi.
In the Minister's address, entitled “A New Model for Major Country Relations between China and the United States,” he details China's vision of strengthening U.S.-China relations with President Obama and how the relationship will advance affairs with other major countries. Additionally, he remarks on China’s response to the global economic crisis.
This week, Secretary of State John Kerry and F.M. Wang Yi are holding bilateral meetings at the State Department. The two leaders are discussing a range of issues, including Syria and North Korea.
