Columbia Journalism Review Looks at Journalism in Digital Age

Editors, directors and academics discussed the future of journalistic independence and free expression in light of changes in the digital age on Monday.

The panel was comprised of Lee C. Bollinger, President of Columbia University; David Ensor, Director of Voice of America; Chrystia Freeland, Editor at Thomson Reuters Digital; and Rebecca MacKinnon, Senior Fellow at the New America Foundation.

Robert Siegel of NPR moderated this event at the Newseum for a look at the way digital culture is changing journalism and free expression.
