This week on The Communicators, Rod Beckstrom, former president/CEO of the Internet Corp. for Assigned Names & Numbers ( ICANN) & former head of the National Cybersecurity Center looks at the status of the internet and the issue of cybersecurity.
Mr. Beckstrom headed the ICANN until a few weeks ago, which is a non-profit organization that oversees key tasks of the internet internationally, such as coordinating domain names like .com, .gov and .org. He oversaw the application process for a wide expansion of domain names during his tenure at the ICANN.
