On Tuesday, negotiations begin in Geneva between Iran and the P5+1 on Iran's nuclear program. In anticipation of the talks, the National Iranian American Council holds its third annual leadership conference with a focus on U.S.-Iranian relations.
New Iranian President Hassan Rouhani has signaled a striking change in Iran's nuclear policy. According to Voice of America, Rouhani is quoted as saying, "I assure you that, on the Iranian side, the will is there fully, a hundred percent, that within a very short period of time there will be a settlement on the nuclear issue."
The P5+1 include the United States, Russia, China, Britain, France and Germany.
