Conversation with NASA Flight Director Chris Kraft

On April 17th, 1970, U.S. lunar spacecraft Apollo 13 touched down safely in the Pacific Ocean. Apollo 13’s journey was fraught with enormous problems after an oxygen tank exploded, causing major damage to the spacecraft.

Chris Kraft, the author of “Flight: My Life in Mission Control,” talks about the Apollo 13 flight, and several other experiences working at NASA.
