Appearing before Congress Tuesday, EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson defended her agency’s study of the impact of a natural gas drilling method known as hydraulic fracking on water contamination. Lisa Jackson testified before two House Energy and Commerce Subcommittee’s on the President’s 2013 budget request. The EPA budget would decrease by 1.2%, totaling $8.3 billion.
