Marsha Orgeron, co-author of “Learning with the Lights Off,” discusses the history and influence of educational films in the United States. She shows two films featured in her book: “Personal Hygiene” from the early 1920’s and “The Positive Image,” a police training film from 1966. She also talks about how these films reflect American culture and values. The National Archives in Washington DC hosted this presentation.
