Sen. Scott Brown (R-MA) and Democratic Candidate Elizabeth Warren held a debate Thursday night in Boston, sponsored by WBZ-TV, the CBS affiliate. A poll conducted for WBUR, another Boston TV station, gives Elizabeth Warren (D) a slight edge over Sen. Brown (R), for the U.S. Senate seat from Massachusetts. Warren, the former chair of a Congressional panel overseeing TARP, leads the first-term senator by 5 points (the poll has a 4.4pt margin of error).
Sen. Brown won the late Sen. Edward Kennedy's seat in a special election.
