Franklin D. Roosevelt’s wartime inner circle of military, intelligence and diplomatic advisers included well known figures like George C. Marshall, ``Wild Bill’’ Donovan, Averell Harriman, Harry Hopkins and the president’s own wife, first lady Eleanor Roosevelt. They were among the subjects of a panel discussion at the FDR presidential library exploring their role and influence on a president fighting a global war.
