Washington, DC
Monday, November 19, 2012

Veteran newscaster Ted Koppel sits down with journalist Marvin Kalb to discuss the fate of network news and how the demands of the digital age have shaped the quick-fire culture of today's news coverage.

The Kalb Report, a monthly discussion of media ethics and responsibility at the National Press Club, hosts the talk titled "The Twilight of Network News: A Conversation with Ted Koppel on Democracy and the Press." Koppel and Mr. Kalb debate the future of journalism and in turn, the future of the nation's democracy.

Ted Koppel is best known for his work as the anchor for ABC's Nightline.
