Feminist Majority Hosts Forum on "Women, Money and Power"

Washington, DC
Thursday, March 29, 2012

The Feminist Majority Foundation hosted an all day forum on "Women, Money and Power" to examine the debate over women’s reproductive rights and discuss ballot measures affecting women.

This year marks the 25th anniversary of the Foundation.

The event features a luncheon honoring Sen. Barbara Mikulski (D-Md.), Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.), Rep. Carolyn Maloney (D-N.Y.) and AFL-CIO Vice President Arlene Holt Baker.

Sen. Mikulski was recently honored for becoming the longest serving woman in Congress.

Representatives from Planned Parenthood and the National Organization for Women participated in panels on women's health, building the women's vote and 2012 ballot measures that affect women.
