Fmr. U.S. Ambassador to Pakistan

The Carnegie Endowment for International Peace hosted Cameron Munter, the former U.S. Ambassador to Pakistan. His appearance marks the first public event since his return from the capital Islamabad.

CBS News has reported that Ambassador Munter’s departure took Pakistani officials by surprise. The U.S. Senate confirmed his successor before the beginning of the congressional recess.
