Former U.S. Ambassador to Afghanistan Ryan Crocker spoke to the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace about the challenges and future of Afghanistan.
Crocker was the Ambassador to Afghanistan from 2011 to 2012. He also served as Ambassador to Iraq under President Bush from 2007-2009, and in Pakistan from 2004-2007. His career with the Foreign Service also included stints as Ambassador to Lebanon, Syria, and Kuwait.
