Gary Shapiro, the president and CEO of the Consumer Electronics Association, offers his recommendations on how the U.S. can improve its economic standing through immigration and business policy reforms. Mr. Shapiro laid out his views in a recent book, “The Comeback: How Innovation Will Restore the American Dream.” The book echoes his call for more broadcast spectrum to meet rising demands from wireless devices, as well as advice on new regulations that can improve the business climate for innovators in the electronics and technology communities.
