German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper hold a joint news conference on Parliament Hill in Ottowa, Canada Thursday.
Chancellor Merkel arrived in Canada on Wednesday for talks with the Prime Minister. The leaders are expected to discuss the euro-zone crisis and negotiations for a Canada-European Union free trade pact.
Chancellor Merkel last visited Canada in 2010 when the country hosted the G-8 and G-20 Summits.
