Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker was in Washington and was the featured guest at this morning’s The Monitor Breakfast. Governor Walker discussed a wide range of topics including the Presidential race with Christian Science Monitor’s Washington Bureau Chief, Dave Cook and other political reporters. As he continues campaigning, Mr. Walker says Mitt Romney needs to establish a clear vision and bold economic plan to win votes.
Appearing at a jobs summit sponsored by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce yesterday, Gov. Walker defended his attempts to balance Wisconsin's budget by cutting public worker benefits.
"These benefits are like a virus that eats up more and more of our budget," he told moderator Major Garrett.
