This weekend on History Bookshelf, Manning Marable discusses the life of the founder of the NAACP in his biography, “W.E.B. Du Bois: Black Radical Democrat.”
The book describes W.E.B. Du Bois’ political views as controversial and states that Mr. Du Bois was one of Booker T. Washington’s harshest critics.
Manning Marable died April 1st.
