History of Albuquerque, New Mexico

Albuquerque, New Mexico
Sunday, March 3, 2013

C-SPAN’s Local Content Vehicles take American History TV on the road. Throughout the weekend of March 2-4 we feature the history of New Mexico's largest city, Albuquerque.

Hosted by our Comcast cable partners, we recently explored Petroglyph National Monument, Casa San Ysidro, and the Coronado State Monument. We also learn about hot air ballooning, the preservation of Route 66, and tuberculosis in early 20th century Albuquerque.
