A look at the history of political campaign ads with David Schwartz, chief curator at the Museum of the Moving Image in New York. He shows videos of some of the first ads used by Harry Truman as well as the “Daisy Girl” ad from Lyndon Johnson’s 1964 campaign. The Lemelson Center for the Study of Invention and Innovation at the Smithsonian National Museum of American History hosted this event.
