Homeland Security Official Discusses Border Management

The Woodrow Wilson Center hosted a discussion on efficient and secure border management strategies.

Alan Bersin, Assistant Secretary of International Affairs and Chief Diplomatic Officer for the Department of Homeland Security, delivered the keynote speech.

A panel discussion talked about the security and economic aspects of border management.

Panelists included: Chappell Lawson, Associate Professor of Political Science at MIT, Director of the MIT International Science and Technology Initiatives; Erik Lee, Associate Director of the North American Center for Transborder Studies, Arizona State University; and Christopher Wilson, Associate, Mexico Institute.
