House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Minority Whip Steny Hoyer (D-MD) briefed reporters on May’s jobs numbers. According to the Labor Department, the economy added 69,000 jobs in May, the smallest increase since May 2011. The unemployment rate moved up to 8.2% from 8.1%.
