House Energy & Commerce Subcommittee Hearing on Net Neutrality

FCC

FCC

Washington, DC
Wednesday, March 9, 2011

A House Commerce subcommittee looked at Internet provider regulations recently handed down by the Federal Communications Commission. These new rules have to do with the concept of Net Neutrality, which is the idea that Internet providers allow all content providers equal access to networks.  The subcommittee later passed a resolution by the panel’s chairman, Rep. Greg Walden (R-OR) that disapproves of the FCC’s ruling on the matter.
