The House Energy and Commerce Health Subcommittee met to hear from Medicare Payment and Advisory Commission Chairman, Glenn Hackbarth on recommended changes to the Medicare payment system. The Congressionally mandated commission advises Congress on access to health care, the quality of care, and other issues affecting Medicare. Frank Pallone (D-NJ) chairs the subcommittee.
