House Hearing on Interior Dept. Oversight of Offshore Drilling

Interior Secretary Ken Salazar and the director of the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management testified on Capitol Hill about federal policies regarding offshore oil and natural gas drilling. Members asked about policy changes following the Deepwater Horizon explosion, including the moratorium on new deepwater drilling leases. The House Oversight and Government Reform Committee held the hearing.
