Rep. Jim McCrery (R-LA) chairs a Social Security Subcommittee hearing on longevity and ways to encourage older citizens to continue working. With retired Americans living longer and the birth rate dropping, Social Security Trustees estimate that the fund will pay out more than it collects by 2017.
