The Medicare Services Deputy Chief Operating Officer was on Capitol Hill to talk about a recent report revealing $48 billion in improper Medicare payments for fiscal year 2010. Michelle Snyder testified before a House Oversight and Government Reform Subcommittee on efforts to curb improper payments, fraud and waste in Medicare services.
Other witnesses included Health and Human Services Inspector General, and the Government Accountability Office’s Health Issue Director.
