House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) campaigned on behalf of Mitt Romney in New Hampshire today. Speaker Boehner spoke with volunteers at the Mitt Romney for President campaign office in Derry.
New Hampshire is considered a swing state in the 2012 presidential election. In the last two elections, New Hampshire has gone Democratic, but with slim margins: Pres. Obama won the state in 2008 with 54% of the vote, while Sen. John Kerry (D-MA) won by only 1% in 2004.
A recent Granite State poll has Pres. Obama leading in the state 52% to 37% over Mitt Romney.
